For groups that are not registered youth groups, Adventure-Ship is only available from January to March. However, if any dates outside that period are still available three months or less in advance, they may be released to commercial bookings subject to the approval of the Board of Directors. Please call 2554-9722 for more information.
Adventure-Ship is only available for booking from approved charitable institutions under Section 88 of the Inland Revenue Ordinance. These organizations are established to promote youth work in Hong Kong, and include schools, authorized youth and community organizations etc.
A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total trip fee must be included with the application form. Cheque should be made payable to "Adventure-Ship Ltd". The balance of payment must be received by our office (200 Shum Wan Road, Aberdeen, Hong Kong) no later than one month prior to the sea trip.
Please note that the fees listed above are already subsidized. Non-charitable groups must pay the commercial booking fee of $35,000 per day. The proceeds from each commercial booking will be used to sponsor trips for disabled and disadvantaged participants.
Adventure-Ship Ltd. is a non-profit charity that offers subsidized training trips to youth organizations to enable young people, who would not be able to afford the full cost of our services. Organizations making bookings must pass on the benefits of this subsidy and not charge participants more than their individual share. Any group found to be overcharging its members/participants will be prohibited from making future bookings and will be required to pay the difference between the subsidized and unsubsidized fee.
If a trip is cancelled by the users, the fees will be forfeited and used for sponsorship for disadvantaged clients.

1.) The maximum number of participants per trip is 60 persons.
2.) For overnight training trip, if one of the training days is across Sat,
Sun or Public Holiday, the training fee would be subjected to the higher
charges.
1. Make sure you belong to an approved charitable institution by checking your status at the Inland Revenue website (http://www.ird.gov.hk/chi/tax/ach.htm). Supporting documents indicating your approved status may be required when making an application.
2. Call our office at 2554-9722 between 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, to enquire about our availability.
3. Make a provisional booking by giving your group's name, address, and a contact person's name and phone number.
4. Within fourteen days of your provisional booking, please download, complete, and return to our office the Application Form with a deposit of 50% of the total trip fee to secure your booking.
5. A month before your trip date, complete the Trip Agreement Form and return it before your training.
6. Booking deposits will be forfeited in the event of cancellation by the client.
Organizations serving disadvantaged groups may apply for sponsorship if their clients have genuine financial difficulties to pay the trip fee.
